Overview: Rotala ‘Nanjenshan’ is a stem plant native to Taiwan and is probably a hybrid between R. rotundifolia and R. wallichii. Rotala ‘Nanjenshan’ is quite popular in the aquascaping hobby because of its availability in stores and traders. This plant grows richer in water whose nutrients it can absorb easily. Sufficient nutrients are needed to make it thrive and display its bright colors of deep green to bright green.
